amazon had the ico hd thing for 29 bucks the other day. my weekend is set for excitement.

i just use my ps3 controller for pc stuff, but you have to install some annoying driver thing. works really well though. much better d-pad.

Are there any PS3 controller drivers that don't require you to go into "dev mode" on Win 7?

I can go wired USB or bluetooth w/ it.

are you using the motioninjoy driver? you open the "ds3" tool when you use it, which i guess could be kind of annoying, but it works great.

I think I remember trying that once...it had some web connected interface you had to run each time you wanted to use the controller?

that thing was sketchy as hell; how many viruses you got now?

well you can't do it through the amazon app store, BUT.

http://www.snappzmarket.com/

then download "emulator roms plus" and it has a library of basically every rom and emulator on the internets.

only downside was it made me register on wiyun.com which was kind of funny since it's all in chinese. BUT WHY DO I CARE IF I GIVE THE CHINAMEN MY SHITTY YAHOO EMAIL I DON'T USE - I DON'T, YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD GLASS JOE

they're going to send me chinese dominos coupons through email for the rest of my days :(

also cubes just make sure you go into the device settings and pick "allow installation of applications from unknown sources" so you'll be able to do this. no rooting or anything required.

what access to my kindle, guy? it's a site basically like any of these other things included with mobile games.

http://en.wiyun.com/

you're pretty paranoid about stuff. i signed in to use the application. this is pretty common.

you idiot. THAT SETTING IS ON ALL ANDROID DEVICES UNLESS YOUR CARRIER HAS DISABLED IT. this specific app is on the regular android market, just not amazon's because they make no money off of it. ATT disabled it for the same reason. it's an official app.

yeah, and I don't disable that protection!

I also don't install apps that request access to my address book, phone calls, etc, unless that app has a good reputation and functionally needs to use that information.

you can review all access that apps have as they install regardless of where you get them. "unknown sources" just means it's not coming from android market for that specific device. unless you're a retard you can see what everything you download is doing. just because ATT/amazon thinks you don't need it doesn't mean you can't get good use out of something.

and i don't know what i'm going to do if the chinese know i've been reading comic books lately. even though i don't believe creating an account for an app that has no access to that area of my kindle is going to cause me any issues.

pisscubes i'm secretly trying to gain access to your girlfriend's kindle ching chong lol ^_^

I haven't checked out diablo 3 at all so maybe this is completely off, but I could understand how Diablo could be damaged or 'neutered' by fucking with the character system. Although your character did interact with the world almost exclusively by clickin, you were tasked with planning a course of development as you gained levels and choosing abilities to master.

World of Warcraft, for example, is far less punishing to players who are careless in selecting courses of growth early on. I always guessed that this is because players invest money as they go along, and it would be very stupid to create a game where a player could potentially 'waste' 324982349984 dollars and hours only to find themselves controlling an elven toad mage who can't handle endgame content.

It was entirely possible to accidentally create a Diablo character who was worthless on a harder difficulty even if their level was extremely high. If you changed the dynamics of the game so that that was no longer a concern, I can see how some people could perceive that as a neutering.

I see.

Always hated that about Diablo. :p
Bring on the neutering!

If DIII isn't looking good for you, Path of the Exile and Grim Dawn should more than make up for it.

What are these all about? I've seen them posted a lot but have never bothered to check them out.

I swear to fucking Baal if Diablo 3 is released on console it would be horrible, unless they make it a dedicated gimped version of the game.

I downloaded the Torchlight demo on Xbox and it was absolutely horrid. The limited key mapping and controls made it unplayable. Then I tried the PC version and it was wonderful.

Loot games fully influenced by the Diablo games of yore. They'll be cheaper (PotE is f2p with a store I believe) and supporting the little guys is always  in my book. Grim Dawn is from some guys that worked on the Titan Quest games.

Blizzard would be stupid not to put it on consoles. I groan whenever I hear about "the rising costs of development" and then that studio has an exlusive deal with Sony or MS or they don't release a PC version. :wank:

Well, I would use this bad boy:

Best controller I ever had. Only reason I don't use it too often is because it is NOT wireless and I'm too lazy at times to go plug it into the 360. I used it for my entire Darkness and Crysis 2 campaigns, that was cool.
