I was level 11 or 12, don't remember exactly. I didn't think you were dying too much but that's probably because I was glad I wasn't the only one dying

The Bill wrote: Unfortunately, I per-ordered this from Best Buy (since I had a gift card) the same day that teaser trailer came out, and for the life of me I don't have a clue as to the email, username, or anything I used to order from them, as this is the only time I ever have. Game comes out Tuesday, not sure I have the patience to track this all down. I guess I'll play Leon's and the other dude's demo level, maybe Leon makes 1/3 of the game worth my laziness.

Just got a message on one of my emails from Best Buy:

Good news! Your order is on its way.

The item below shipped on September 27, 2012, via UPS...

Guess I'm playing it for sure.

isn't the re6 demo relatively busted compared to the final product? i enjoyed the demo enough, though the controls definitely are lacking compared to 4 and 5, but they've hopefully fixed that. game looks to be huge though with the 4 different character storylines. i'll wait until it comes to pc though.

Since I got HL2 practically for free in the last Steam sale insanity, I decided to take another crack at it. Never finished the 360 version. I'm ashamed to say that I'm much more motivated now because... it's prettier.

HL2 now runs on an update version of the engine it originally was released on. Adds all sorts of neat-o stuff they showcased in the Lost Coast tech demo. So, aside from better textures, it now does all this additional good stuff vs. the 360 version which at the time had better real time lighting than the PC version.

The more I hear about Borderlands 2's over the top weapons the more it makes me hope future FPSers take note and start thinking outside of the now boring shotgun/assault rifle/pistol/sniper rifle box. More BFGs less AK-47s please.

Pisscubes wrote:I sort of am too. The demos look cool-- I love games with multiple ways to beat a level. And that game of "horse" they unveiled is one of the more original on-line components I've seen in a while.
Yeah, I had it written off but between some of the gameplay videos and that awesome online part....I will definitely get it on release. Between this and Dishonored (it's going to hurt when this probably bombs and every cookie cutter sequel sells millions and millions) looking incredible, it's a good time for stealth games. I need to pre-order it soon so I can get the Sniper challenge mini-game they released.

So here's a funny thing for those playing BL2 you can actually fail the W4R DEN fight where you are saving Roland. Riley and I had the most abysmal display last night and apparently after a certain amount of time if you haven't beat him yet he is just like fuck it and bounces and you have to go beat him on another mission....

Riley's game is so fucking infuriating, level 12 and not a single even slightly decent drop yet I was truly embarrassed by our play

I've been overtly excited ever since the first announcement for the game, but what really sealed it was the Sniper Challenge. It looks amazing! Still I'm the only one out of my friends to play it, hell I made it on August's Top 50 leaderboard. At first people complained about voice actors being changed, well the studio listened and brought back the man whose been 47's voice from the beginning. I really hope the new Hitman blows everyone away and shows how a true assassin works. No matter how many sequels I've never been bored with a Hitman game, compared to Assassins Creed which I actually fell asleep playing. Haha

Man, got too damn drunk playing the BL1. It's become quite addictive to the point that hours seem like minutes and three glasses of wine seem like one. Finally found some great weapons, only problem is the game is giving me level 25 items when I'm only 21. Sonovabitch!

Sorry, Riley, won't bother you again and that's a solid promise.

Haha when I beat warden the second time I did it the first time and was confused because I remembered there being another part to the mission

I just solo'd a level 26 bunker at level 22 8)

I did some side quests late last night and got some halfways decent weapons and a not totally fucking useless shield. Hoping things get slightly less embarrassing

Also I did the assassins side quest last night. Ruled.

Torchlight 2 is the shit. Makes me wish I had the attention span and time to sit down and play the Real Fucking RPGs with Real Fucking Stories I've accumulated, but I'll take being able to wield a sword with a cool name and slay creatures for an hour or two.

did that last night too.

sometimes the overload of pop culture and memes is funny, but sometimes they need to lay off a bit. i should try it

plus, it doesn't help that anthony burch wrote the game and his sister does the voice for tiny tina. i just think about her the whole time now
