I keep hearing the story is cool. How do you interact in this game? Do you get dialogue choices at all or is it just straight cut scenes?

The story is quite engrossing, I paid a lot of attention to it which is something I don't say about 95% of video games. You don't get any dialogue choices though, it's the same story no matter what, which bothered me at first thinking that you should have more control over the direction of the story, but thinking back now makes me realize it just would have made the story suffer if it was basically a choose your own adventure game. It feels like a good interactive movie.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO is make Resident Evil 4 over and over again. The game worked fucking perfectly, all it needs is new rooms and enemies - that's as clever as you need to be, no more, just creative enough to work out a new giant clock to run around on while a new kind of chainsaw guy tries to bite you. Fuck.

To be fair, Street Fighter has been tweaked a bunch over the years. There's huge differences between the II, III, and IV series imo.

Just watch the review-- it smacks of someone who is supposed to say this is the best game ever created by man or beast but actually has a steaming turd to work with, so despite one or two actual lines of harsh criticism, he constantly goes back to how parts of it might be the best ever.

I'm calling a moratorium for any and all use of the word "experience", especially in the plural, in any kind of description of a game.

A man without a pork bun in his hand can never be a whole man. Quite possibly the most poignant piece of video game dialogue I've ever heard.

Been hearing stuff about people getting completely lost in the demo (stupid stuff like a guard saying you can't go in that way and people obeying that ) at game conventions. That makes me want the game even more.

If anyone is on the fence about RE6, just play that demo. That should clear everything up.

I was a normal person and played the game without any fucks and beat it as a super badass because these points you lose for damage property is extremely minuscule compared to any other points in the game

Yeah, you'll get more than enough points doing the side missions. Wear the different unlockable clothes to boost Cop / Triad points during missions.
