Doesn't unlock on Steam until 12 am Wednesday here. :( On the other hand, I'll have a few days of Dishonored before XCOM unlocks, too. Glorious week for games.

Seems like 8s, 9s, and 10s across the board for Dishonored. I hope this game sells well.

Dishonored is almost certainly the finest stealth game I’ve played since the dawn of The Metal Age.
those are some big words..

I'm telling you, there's a stench about this one that tells me I'm going to love it, and will be my GOTY. Hell, maybe GOTY versus non 2012 games I played this year, like Batman: AC or Skyrim  What a glorious stench. We shall see.

everything seems amazing about it, but i need to know the length. if its 20+ hours, that's one thing. but if it's less than 10 i'll prolly wait

One review said the main mission was 10-12 hours. So, there you go.

Playing through chrono trigger for the first time ever. Probably a bit more than half through. It's good I guess. Unless something awesome happens in the story then I don't see what all the "best game ever" shit comes from.

Also ordering retro city rampage on vita/ps3 tonight. Stoked for that one.

Don't do this to me. Are you playing with the volume up or are you listening to something else while you play?

I was 27 when I first encountered that game... I think I feel the same as AP. The music is good indeed, but the gameplay falls into some chasm between FF games and Zelda games. Or something. Did not love. Did not finish.

I'm listening to the game. Playing the ps1 version so I don't know if the music is the same as the snes game. Music is really good, ill give it that. I just gave frog the masamune so that's where I'm at. I've never been big on turn based RPGs so I wasn't expecting it to be my best game ever. Just based on how people still talk about it I was expecting more than ff3(6) or whatever. I'm enjoying it and ill finish though.

Yep. Apparently some of the side missions will affect how the later stages of the game play out. I've read some impressions from people with early copies and scoff at their short game complaints when they kill everyone, don't do side missions and play on easy. Some people have said it's a six hour game, some have said they spent five hours on the first mission alone. It's all about what you put into the game.

Same. Played a couple years ago (28?). Didn't finish.
The only question that I thought was hard was do I like Kirk, or do I like Picard?

I'm watching a stream of someone playing Dishonored. It looks pretty awesome. It's kind of Bioshock-ish.

I knew I'd get pathetically addicted to Borderlands 2, and here we are... I'm such a sucker for loot, it's really kind of sad. I mean, awesome, but sad.

that sale was insane - i probably spent close to a thousand dollars on all those games back in the 90s...

gk2 is pretty good if you don't compare it to the first one. the chapters you play as grace are really boring, and most of the acting is cringe-worthy.

police quest 4 is cool - start with that, it has some good twists and turns.
