also, am i the only one who thought dead space 2 was like... uncomfortably scary/intense? it freaked me out a lot more than amnesia, for example. TOO SCARY
right there with ya. especially toward the end when it was just wave after wave of necromorph hordes. game actually stressed me out.
i really thought the environment design was best in part 2 as well. the other two games were far too repetitive in that regard

i vaguely recall reading something about from software saying that this version was going to be primarily pc based, with the console versions being sort of an "though the systems are outdated i guess we need to do a port anyway".

that's actually one of the ones i'm looking forward to playing the most. lots of people were mentioning it as a kind of unsung lucasarts game and it was like $8.

everybody's holding their loads for the new consoles so this year is shaping up to be a good time to catch up on missed games. nevermind that stores are practically giving games away lately

and while i'm talking too much, why has hardly anyone here talked about dragon's dogma? the re-release of the game (with added content and a few tweaks) is coming out on the 23rd and it looks fantastic.
skyrim + dark souls - punishment
i've been watching gameplay vids all day. i'm getting all worked up
EDIT: oh, and it's only $40

i've been holding off in hopes of a pc port, which was rumored originally to coincide with the re-release. sounds like it might not be happening which is too bad because capcom makes some pretty good pc ports.
i think slinky was playing it?

speaking of re-releases, everybody needs to buy the re-release of Deadly Premonition when it comes out so SWERY will get the money to make a new game
