I am still overwhelmed by that ridiculous skill tree.

This is definitely what Diablo 3 should have been

Last few weeks are a blur of random crap. This Bioshock hangover has been brutal on these other games. I guess mostly I'm playing DMC, and when I get too drunk I switch over to Borderlands 2. I tried to start Mass Effect from scratch with a female Shepard, but the bitch ended up looking like a giraffe necked no chin, despite looking damn hot in the character create screen. No way am I looking at this cancer jaw for three games, so I scrapped the bitch and I'll retry another time. I guess DMC is good, but combo heavy beat-em' ups don't do it for me anymore. I'd be fine if the game was over by now, but it seems I have 13 more levels to go.

I sort of want to play a Castlevania game. Maybe. How is that PS3/360 one?

It was pretty damn fun but basically God of War with vampires and a dash of Shadow of the Colossus. I wish they would make a 2d Castlevania for this generation.

i think igarashi actually wants to do (or have someone do) a new console 2d game but they know (or at least think) that there's no way they'd make back any investment on it. bummer.
if there's anybody in the world who'd be fucking unobservant enough to actually damage themselves with trap-soap I guess it'd be the guy with dialup in 2007

I wonder if they would make money on it or not ? These kids today am I right. Maybe contract it out to an indie studio and have it a live/psn release for $15-20ish dollars ?!

i played the demo for that scaling multiplayer castlevania game (forgot that name) and it really turned me off in a lot of ways but i'm open to hearing other people tell me if i'm wrong. that fucking schmaltzy power metal score was the cherry on top that made it not for me..
Google it. My name is "Varg Vikernes".

I have 8 children.

Didn't they do that a couple years ago? Some weird multiplayer thing?

That franchise has surfed on goodwill for the past 10 years imho... I say this every time it comes up, which may be annoying at this point - but I always lose steam on any CV game since the GBA days. I haven't finished a single one. Enthusiasm somehow just gives way to apathy.

The graphics and little animations are always pretty cool... but there's some critical motivational part of the formula that's missing.

There's only like 4 stages and they made it disgustingly hard to hide that fact. You have to grind stages over and over to get to the point where you don't just die constantly. :wank:

did anyone else hit up one of these VR arcades in the early '90s where you get into a cockpit and do multiplayer against others in the same place? I guess it's not that amazing now but it seemed ridiculously awesome to kid-me at the time

Never saw a Battletech Center (actually never heard of that until now) but we did have similar machines at locations around the city when I was a tot.

I never actually got to use one, and obviously the experience can't be replicated through other devices - so all I have to go on is other people's anecdotes! Sad shit

The rate at the one near me was something like $5 for 3 minutes, if I remember correctly!
