Dying Light was surprisingly fun. I played the shit outta that. Might go back and do some more when that DLC that expands the map comes out.

played 8 minutes of the dying light demo. not open enough. just because you create a 'city' thats like a nickelodeon tv show jumgle gym that doesn't make it an open world. any demo that has an hour timer in the hud for how long you can play can fuck right off. parkour is cool. melee weapons are cool. npcs are stupid as fuck. zombies are just stupid. only reason why i actually played it was the menu music was good.

MGSV on Monday and Mad Max game on Tuesday - It's going to be overload.

Mad Max looks fun enough and it was $30 on PC.

Playing through Ground Zeroes has me pretty hyped for The Phantom Pain. The opening sequence is supposed to be nuts and I've read you'll want to set aside a few hours when you start the game. Can't wait.

Playing through Ground Zeroes has me pretty hyped for The Phantom Pain. The opening sequence is supposed to be nuts and I've read you'll want to set aside a few hours when you start the game. Can't wait.

So keen - Only problem is it comes out on a Monday and I have to wait for it to be delivered - I hope it's waiting in Canberra so I can get into it on Monday!!!

I should hope so. I'm really sick of the too cool for school post-Scream take on horror movies. It doesn't have to be tongue in cheek, self aware, cartoonish, a parody, attempting to be clever, or some how sympathetic. Sounds really fun.

Mad Max looks pretty awesome, too. There's a screenshot/video editor in-game where you can play and someone else can control the camera with a second controller. Been watching some videos and it looks like a lot of the randomness of Just Cause is in this, too.

I really did it to myself by buying that new PC. Suddenly, old games demand a replay or second chance, and this may very well be absolutely is the most backlogged I've ever been. Batman and ME2 have been total time sinks. I can't believe the Summer consisted of only two games.

Enjoying Mad Max a lot so far. The atmosphere is perfect. The camera feels a little floaty but I'm getting used to it. Car combat is rad, great sounds. We'll see if I get burned out of the somewhat typical open world design. The combat feels more like Sleeping Dogs than Batman.

The constant credits in MGSV So far so good. The prologue is and ridiculous in typical Metal Gear fashion. Gameplay is better than it's ever been.
