What generation is good
Boomers - Easy Rider, best music, best movies, i think invented facial cumshot movies, LSD, Hulk Hogan. Probably the only ones to become real grownups.
Gen X - Thinks being an ironic wallflower is winning. Probably to blame for all the metal bands making dumb industrial albums in the 90s. Jello Biafra sounds like a cartoon mascot for a factory that makes gay trombones. But did invent Louis CK and probably had the best childhood, 70s kids are the coolest kids. Did drugs the worst of every generation. But actually became grownups not like millenials. Many probably still carry the secret of Dim Mak martial arts attacks from magazine advertising.
Millenials - Make up word to win arguments. The ones who went through puberty without internet furry porn are alright. Now that I'm middle aged I realize spending too much time thinking about baby things like nintendo and mario is really really bad. Have social anxiety and spaz out if you say things they don't already know like:
"I really liked this one baby movie."
"Me too. By comparison, did you ever see this different baby movie?"
"I have to go wash my hands!!"
(And then they run away because they don't already know what to say, and can't speak extemporaneously.)
Gen Z - probably better than millenials, but too much dancing. Seem like time travellers because they mix and match culture from every decade on YouTube. Hopefully trap music about SSRIs can become the new social security. Thinks "Dont fear the reaper" is a song by Ghost. Strangely haunted by the spectre of Spongebob.

Also millennials and genz wont watch movies if the director makes tweets they disagree with.
Boomers only use twitter to say things like "MY GRANDSON ATE. GOOD BOSTON MARKET TODAY!."

Boomers:
Are bankrupting social security
Could raise a family on a single income, and easily afford a house
Think climate change is fake liberal agenda
Had jobs with pensions, and can retire easily

Fact #7
From an empirical viewpoint, the problem with Free Will (and causality) is reconciling determinism and freedom to make sense of morality.

Re: What generation is good
helpful chart?
speaking of making up words...
I think the xennial thing was part of the peace deal brokered to end the intergenerational wikipedia wars (when actual millennials edited the "millennials" wikipedia page so it captured people born in 1980, and then gen-Xers like ME would edit it back, and it would go back and forth; millennials claiming 1980 has always been total bullshit, since the only rational definition for millennial = you became an adult in 2000 or after)

Re: What generation is good
your Ghost thing inspired me to make sure they hadn't covered it, and they haven't (for obvious reasons), but the thing below reminded me of this youtube guitarist guy's embarrassing quest to brown-nose his way into the band. he was basically doing overt/public ass-kissing, dressing up in their costumes, covering songs "in the style of Ghost" etc., and it just never went anywhere. I feel so bad for youtube quasi-stars who are doing great for a while, and then they lose their audience for whatever reason and they have no idea what to do next. even at its best, that "job" probably pays better in terms of "fame" feelings than in money, so... it's gotta be rough on the other side. this guy has almost 200 ppl on patreon, so that's at least a few hundred bucks per month... maybe it's fine

I never understand these criticisms, climate denial aside. These are just the consequences of being born.Necrophilic Mallard wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 2:46 pm Boomers:

Re: What generation is good
The problem is that boomers think everything still works the way it did when they were 25 and anyone who says it doesn't is just lazy. They honestly think they all individually got to where they are because of "hard work" and the unprecedented economic growth they happened to be living in had nothing to do with it.Eight Bit Alien wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 3:56 pm I never understand these criticisms, climate denial aside. Anyway, I'm actually posting here because i wanted to say I agree with you about Zoomers and Spongebob. It's so weird.

I'm starting a crust band called Boomer Lead Poisoning. It's mostly incoherent yelling and whining about liberals.
Need a drummer. Must have van and no sense of humor.

I feel like every passing generation group gets wimpier and more gay. This is the insects’ master plan. I don’t give a fuck about Gen Z, Alpha, and Big Bertha, but I will not stand for the nice doggos being breed to farm wasp nests out of their heads.

I want to start a drone band with people who are extremely retarded and deaf strumming instruments on 1000 watt amps turned all the way up. It will be called DumbO)))cxwx wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 5:32 pmSign me up.a world of no wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 3:36 pm I'm starting a crust band called Boomer Lead Poisoning. I unfairly assume she's cut from the same cloth wholly based on looks and actions.

That oil drinking video reminds me of that movie where the lady confused a garage with a doctors office.
