this kinda overlaps with the hot take I heard: AI is subsidized like crazy at the moment thanks to all the venture capital propping it up. at some point it's going to be the same story as wal-mart after they drive the local mom+pop to extinction, just like rideshare got expensive, airbnb stopped being a great deal, and don't even get me started on the fucking rental scooters littering the streets
