some of you might be into it. kind of like a cross between nasum aesthetics with gorguts ripoff riffs
i really want to like this but it seems a little too bro-mosh to really get behind.

The production on this sucks. And not in a good way.

Care to elaborate? Some of the best Godflesh material ever and probably the best thing Broadrick has done in a decade.

At first I was going to disagree with you. It sounds charmingly like Hate Forest at times. A lot of the time its ignorable and some of the time its passable for me personally, but yeah, its aaaaaalmost a deeeeeecent production quality.

Well I have never been able to understand the appeal of this band, but I was feeling open minded and decided to give this new one a shot. I was only able to stomach the first two tracks at best. Its so unwaveringly unmusical, simplistic, unemotive, amateurish, uninspired, and wholly unoriginal. The music made me feel like I was at Milwaukee Metalfest in 1995 early on Saturday morning watching a band on a secondary stage painfully struggle through a boring set in a room with 6 other people in it. I'm not even trying to berate you, the band or its fans (usually I am), but I seriously just cant understand why anyone would want to listen to this album.

Just discovered that I missed this album until now. I fully recognize that the learning curve on this is pretty steep, but my mind if kind of blown right now. This thing rules.
