There's an alternate Dance of Death cover art that JUST has Eddie as the reaper on the background, and it's so much better without the 80s "Money for Nothing"-meets-Eyes Wide Shut dancers on the cover.
I think the argument that Brave New World is the best Iron Maiden album is honestly one I'm coming around to. I listened to it again over the weekend, and while it was the first new-release Iron Maiden album I bought as a fan in 2000 so it holds a special sentimental value to me, it has held up incredibly well and kind of summarizes everything they do great in their career, and every song is great (yes, even "The Mercenary" and "Nomad").
I love DoD but I think BNW edges it out slightly, and AMOLAD is also top-notch. Everything since I've liked, but I'd rank Book of Souls #1, then Senjutsu, then Final Frontier last of the most recent 3.
