You could just bookmark this one, humper:
http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/
That site is actually quite a failure - there are six links to Haiti shit on the front page. I guess for the fundie xtians who read that site, god's wrath against the devil-worshippers IS good news?
AND IT'S NOT EVEN FREE!

Made it through my second but more legit workout today. My hilariously bad right shoulder held up fine, but I discovered a weakness in my left elbow. No pain, but it just goes wet noodle on me after so many reps.
Edit: I'm also getting tickets to the Dayton - Xavier bball bame. Alma Mater, here I come!

School was closed today because I live in North Carolina, and one shaded street 20 minutes away from school that may or may not have a little ice left equals instant death for all students and faculty. So drinkin instead of studyin!!!

you can still file now for 2008, if you want. worth it if you'll get money back.Pyrite Medal of Ignorance wrote: (didn't file my taxes last year, hope that won't fuck my jizz up)

Re: Post something positive that happened today
I think my return would have been something like $15, so I didn't consider it worth my time since I was making wicked scrill this time last year.
I got most of the way through the FAFSA online thing and saved it, but I guess I need to pick up my W-2 for 2009 from my (ex?) employer..might have to wait until tomorrow to do that, not sure I want to leave the house today.
I guess I'll move on to something else on my list -- what will be less painful? Calling my grandparents, or calling the SSA to request help with figuring out Medicare/whatever other garbage they signed me up for so I can finally see some doctors and whatnot? Ahhhh, being retarded sucks when you KNOW you're retarded...

I think you have me confused with someone else. I really haven't had much in the way of physical activity other than the occasional jog since I left my first "real world" job.cold radiance wrote:Wait...weren't you a bodybuilder? What happened?

A lot of people thought I was Jake Mincer or whatever from the old board. I, however, was never on the old board. My name isn't even Jake...it's Dan.

Re: Post something positive that happened today
my friend was able to graduate HS without ever having algebra. she freaked out in college. too many times trying to help her while she cried in frustration, too many calls after her math tests that she just cried during (yes, she was that girl). but now she has a masters in education and she teaches kids all about earth science/geology.Pyrite Medal of Ignorance wrote:I made it to my senior year of high school by age 15 without ever having a firm grasp on basic algebra...I'll never be able to agree with you, unless we're talking about how music=math and then MAYBE I'll listen for a few minutes...John Jr. wrote:math is awesome.
