my band is 1/4 mexican, 1/4 asian (well, half jap), 1/4 german (I think? she's actually white as fuck), and 1/4 amelia. i know more brown or mixed race punks than white ones. maybe i'm the one living in a bubble?!

I think maybe a lot of the "young professionals" that are somewhat transient, as in, come by for school, maybe a few years into their pro careers they bail for other cities. the longtime residents seem to be more colorful or not your standard whitey norm?
