Escape Plan 5/10. This movie bored me. I almost walked out. I expected a dumb but fun movie and got a boring pile of shit. Stupid plot. Bad acting. Waste of time.

Anyone seen House by the Cemetary? Eli Roth is hosting a showing of this tonight. Was thinking of going. It has the coolest trailer I've ever seen.

Got my ticket for Raiders of the Lost Ark hosted by Steven Spielberg with a Q and A afterwards. Will probably miss the Q and A to see Fulci's House by the Cemetary.

The Family 6/10. Robert deniro plays a mafioso snitch in the witness protection program. He can't seem to escape his old life. I found the mos interesting part was the kids. They were really funny. Deniro plays a henry hill like character.
I'd rate it about the same. It wasn't boring, and was kind of entertaining, but for a guy that has been in the grandaddys of all mafia meisterwerks, this is just a "cute" tale of an Al Bundy character that's a millionaire with wiseacre kids and mom basically punching french faggits in their balls.

Tetsuo: The Bullet Man :stains:/10

I'm not sure how to rate this... I would probably rate it fairly high if the excessive shakycam was toned down a bit, and the obvious filler material was trimmed... but then there'd be less than an hour's worth of movie left unworthy of a high rating. Interesting concept, uneven result. Stains it is...

gravity - 7/10. was pretty cool. as said i wish nobody talked but it was nothing i didnt expect. i also am so fucking close to just throwing the idea of going to the theaters to see movies completely out the window.

This is the first time I've seen a fulci film in the theater and holy shit was it awesome. Great score, excellent cinematography, very satisfying gore. I loved the practical effects. 8/10 but pretty much 10/10 on a horror scale. Loved it.

All is Lost 7/10. Not bad, but maybe I've seen too many disaster films in a short period of time. Not as good as Captain Phillips or Gravity.

I couldn't help but be a bit dissappointed with this, and I am/ was (up to Zatoichi) a huge Kitano fan. I enjoy bleak, cold movies like this, but nevertheless I had been looking forward to something poetic as in Hana-Bi. It sure was better than the three movies before it IMHO. Btw did you enjoy those and if so, what exactly was it that made you like them?
You know, as much as I would consider myself a Takeshi fan, I'm out of my element here. Brother was the last one I saw before Outrage.

Hannibal - 8/10

Not as clever as I remembered, but still criminally underrated. Also, Julianne Moore. Fapfapfap.
