I tried to read the book a couple of years ago and I am not proud to say that I couldn't finish it. It is the only book I've quit in the last 10 years. I am scared of watching the movie.

Such Hawks Such Hounds - 6/10

Documentary about underground heavy rock. Missed so many important bands, but covered bands like Fatso Jetson and Comets on Fire, which are good bands, but don't really hit the radar as well as others.

Matt Pike interviews were great.

1: did you see elysium?
2: she sucks but it wasn't her fault as much as it was just the script
3: but yeah a extremely favorable 6 is probably fair

The Conjuring - 6

Holy typical bullshit Batman. House is haunted, call in the spook crew!! 1 point for tension building which was done pretty well. I see movies like this and all I want to do is watch The Entity.

1. nope
2. the script was silly but everyone else managed to deliver their lines at least adequately. she would get that fucking mean face every time she said something "evil" or serious and it made me cringe

this looks... and I mean visually... this looks just ghastly to me

I'm not sure what it is. the whole thing is digitally recolored to hell and back? not sure

that shot of the crowd scattering at 1:28 - why would that look like that? it's fucked

it looks like you turned one of these bug jewelries into a film:
