and right after they exercised putz's option. so bell will set up I guess, because putz is actually good. and does anyone think bell will be at all good at that? not to mention the fact that they have, in david hernandez, one of the best set-up guys in the league already. so is heath bell a 6.5 million a year 7th inning man? AND you lose an outfielder who admittedly isn't great, but whose value was low after an injury season and EVEN STILL probably could have fetched you something better than 60% of a shit contract. way to allocate your resources you fucking halfheads
