this may be inciting some rioting, but I don't give 2 flying fucks generally speaking about drum sounds--- I'm there for the riffs and the rocking. Everyone got all worked up over Krisiun's Ageless Venomess....I like the album, drums shrums.

Not to say I don't enjoy interesting drumming---I dig prog and wackeyy time sigs, but generally speaking, I don't care if they whack pots n pans with a rake, or have a 2034832048 billion dollar kit. I'm a huge steely dan fan for cryin' pete sake, and the drummers/drumming is stellar thoughout. But I tend to not get to focused on the drum tones.

I was in a band for about a year (since broken up), and once while were discussing our dreams that, sadly, will never be realized, the topic of potential future reviews came up. We all agreed that if someone gave us a bad review, we would beat up that reviewer, if possible. Or do something to ruin him. I can't speak for any band given an unfavorable review by Anthony, but I would hope that they realize such a review was truly deserved. If not, I have Anthony's back.

Did your band manage to record anything? I do track reviews for $5, album reviews for $10.

I had previously seen only one of that guy's video reviews, so I thought this was really him at first. Almost halfway through, and on page two of this thread (all the praise) the pieces started falling into place. Well executed, but I didn't laugh...probably because I haven't seen enough of that guy's reviews to get the references.
