I don’t even know what this is. Was I in a media blackout or did my mind block out the trauma? I remember Predators, the AvP films, and Prey. Fuck is this?
it's basically Transformers, only the Autobots are Predators and the Decepticons are other different Predators. all i remember is a group decapitation with bad CGI and something about the good guy Predators gifting a suit of armor to an autistic boy so he can fight climate change.

Dumbest thing in Aliens is the weyland logo on the kid's tricycle.

Nothing in Aliens could ever be dumb because the fact that it's the movie Aliens negates its dumbness. It's like when you're inside the event horizon of a singularity all directions still lead back into the black hole.

Dune ('84) - 9/10. God damn this was good. I think I liked it more than the recent ones but wouldn't have enjoyed it as much without them since I never read the book if that makes any sense? I tried to watch this years ago and just had no idea what was going on but was able to get into it more now that the new ones explained a little more. This is like my favorite story now and I need to read the book

this rules so hard. Fishburne steals the scene whenever he's in it.

Walken's dancing to hip hop is wild and his kissing is absolutely creepy. love it.
Hahaha, I was advised to rewatch the movie with the commentary (which I will).

Should I watch Butchers Crossing just to see if it's abomination or not? The novel was perfect so not sure how I'd feel about it.

I guess I DID make that reference to the "geez you got a big pussy"' joke. Maybe this should be a thread. Each board member has to watch it and give it the Siskel and Ebert treatment.

+1 for the Alan Smithee version - it's not exactly better, but there is more of it... and the story makes a little more sense due to a long exposition dump right out of the gates. It sucks that David Lynch still wont talk about it much beyond how much of a terrible time he had with it. There's also a fan edit "SpiceDiver" that I have heard is good, but I haven't seen it yet.

3000 Years of Longing ('22 | 108min) - 7.5/10 - If you liked Baron Munchausen, this has a similar feel, IMO. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. John Seale came out of retirement to do the cinematography one last time for Miller, so it looks great. It's too bad that he couldn't get him for Furiosa.

Mackenzie Davis is awesome and I loved Station 11 and Halt And Catch Fire. I still haven't seen Dark Fate or Genisys.

Both are a waste of time and if you still watch them, you'll be angry you didn't listen to me.

Dune the novel does not suck but I don't have any desire to read the rest of the series.
