Firestarter (2022) 5/10 same basic shit as the Drew Barrymore one but without awesome 80’s explosions. Also no Art Carney, because he’s dead.

Fact #7
From an empirical viewpoint, the problem with Free Will (and causality) is reconciling determinism and freedom to make sense of morality.

Dude I try to really get into that movie every few years and it always throws me for a loop. There's a lot to like about it but it's so fucking weird and I never feel like I understand it. By the end I have no idea what the fuck I'm supposed to be thinking.

Ghostbusters Afterlife - 2
was kinda into the first 1/2 hour or so, but then it goes all JJ Abrams (an uninspired stream of lazy toy commercial callbacks) before going full Marvel (corny post-credit sequences teasing an exthpanded Ghosthtbusthtersth universthe).

The Batman - 7
needed to shave like 40 minutes off the end, but i dug the world, actors, and characterizations.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - 5/6.
dug the eyeball octopus man and the zombie strenge with the cape of ghosts.

New York Ninja - 100
pure joy.

Evil Dead 2 - 9

I can't fucking believe how many amazing props, effects and gags show up at the end of this. If I made any of those things I'd want them onscreen for hours, and they just shuffle them through so quickly and professionally.

Need to finish the tv show, fell off back during season 2 and always regretted it.

The Sadness- 7.5/10.

I don't usually care for this specific subgenre, but I thought this one worked. Well-paced and nice looking. I thought it lost a few points by not knowing whether to be earnest or comical at times.

Ideally, society should be organized via a warrior-priest aristocracy.

I can trace my ancestry all the way back to historic germanic tribal chieftains in fact.

I’m in the same boat to some extent - made it to S3 but then stopped watching it for no reason in particular. It’s not too late for us!

(I do think the quality dwindled a bit as it went on…)

Quality went down for sure but it's definitely worth the watch. And I kind of just pretended TCM2 wasn't really associated with the original and dug it for what it was

When watched as comedy, it's great entertainment
would have been improved a lot though if somebody had punched this Lars guy a dozen times. what a ninny
