Superbad - 3/10 It felt like it was trying to become autodescriptive. A few laughs, but... I think I feel about this movie the way most people feel about Napoleon Dynamite.

I gave it 2 points for the cute chicks in it.
Ouch.

Le Doulos (new 35 mm print) 8/10

Very cool, but can't touch Le Samourai or Le Cercle Rough, two of the greates films ever made.

I need to buy that soundtrack so I can put that song on my iPod.....JUST THAT SONG. FUCKING CARL.....LOL..he got all big and thought he was going to get laid.
Yes, that song is almost as great as the Mastodon one at the beginning, and way more addictive.

The little woman and I were trying to come up with a list of things that would have to happen to us before we could enjoy this movie. I believe lobotomy was like...#2.

Still, not saying that I wouldn't want to join Michael Bay on a coke-fueled descent into Hollywood Babylon, but I'm not nearly Jewish enough.

Letters From Iwo Jima - 8/10 Some of the cgi was bad, like when the gunman lost his arm. That would have been so much better if they would have done traditional special effects.

I read the back of the box, and knew there wasn't going to be any Vietnam action. Kind of like how people hated Jarhead. He didn't see any action, never fired his rifle, so it was the same in the movie.

Dreamgirls- whatever and who cares/10, Jennifer Hudson can sing her ass off, I just don't really dig that style of really over-the-top singing with long runs.

If someone hated Jarhead because it lacked action they missed the point, probably because their brain is half broken.

The Illusionist - 5/10

Rufus Sewell being awesome was totally counteracted by Ed Norton being a garbage actor. Paul Giamatti was ok, story was predictable and the magic was goofy. Average movie gets average score.

Labyrinth 4/10 - Dear God, stop singing!

Monster Squad 3/10 - Sometimes you can't go home again

Flash Gordon 8/10 - Seems less campy in my old age and more kick ass

Aqua Team Hunger Force 5/10 - Like an episode that went too long
