Vice Squad fucking rules, 8 Million Ways To Die and 52 Pick Up are enjoyable but not as good. None are as awesome as To Live And Die In LA

Vice Squad is great and Id endorse it based on Wings Hauser's performance alone. But I could also see someone being disappointed by it.

favorite part was the montage w/ the Wolverine variants. really wish that was the whole movie; Deadpool earth-jumping to find a Wolverine, only to keep getting his ass kicked or whatever. it still would've been kinda dumb, as the multiverse stuff is beyond played, but at least it would've had more creative potential (maybe a Danzig cameo? references to all the other pointy claw guys from 1990s Image Comics stuff? other What If? goof-offs, etc). but no yeah cool Jennifer Garner Electra great.

Yeah, I don't know what these idiots are thinking. Luckily I went to see it the night it opened, and I had no idea about anything. It was kind of nice being in a packed theater with everyone whooping and clapping at all the cameos and in-jokes, after all the cynicism surrounding the Marvel movies lately. But it's basically a two-hour comedy movie made up of self-referential jokes about the MCU and the off-brand Marvel stuff, and you either find that amusing or you don't. Why people think this is somehow going to "save Marvel" I have no idea, but I did find it amusing.

Blackberry - 8/10 - Glenn Howerton really brought the angry bald guy energy in this one, and Jay Baruchel as the timid nerd was obviously great casting.

Ferarri - 8.5/10 - The driving scenes were great. Driver looked the part even though his accent wasn't great. Penelope Cruz is incredible as always.

Alien: Covenant Really wanted to like it but it’s pretty stupid and not even satisfying as a bad unnecessary Aliens origin story. Pretty much takes a huge dump on Prometheus while Jar-Jar Binks-ing the original good films. I hate modern day everything and this just adds to it. But, hey, two robots have a robot fight.

Deadpool cum Wolverine - I can see the great and the dreadful in this

most interesting part was sitting next to a pensioner gal who definitely hadn’t seen more than a few comic book movies, and was having a great time nonetheless. i guess dick jokes and naughty slang are all it takes!
