Who recommend "The Pigman" by Paul Zindel a million years ago, CROSTY? This is an excellent book so far.

Torture Garden - Octave Mirabeau 9/10
I wonder how many metal heads read this over the years, other than obviously the Naked City album, the book contains both phrases "Festival Of Death" ( Brodequin ) and "Raining Blood"
I can see the direct path between this to George s Bataille - Clive Baker. I could do without most of the first half of the book even though I understand it's necessary as establishing a conduit from the more mundane every day world and representing how the main protagonists idea of his own corruption is really nothing compared to what he finds later but the first section is boring a shit.

If anyone cares. One of the few books of his to be translated into English, other than the first part of the "Blinding" trilogy.

How about a comic book written by the "The Public Burning" guy? ( I've only read "the baby sitter" and part of "universal baseball association" so far )

https://www.skylightbooks.com/street-cop

It's a little pricey.

Has anyone read "Dirty Snow" - George Simenon? It sounds pretty grim.

I saw his much older videos back when he got seduced by the book and his approach to understanding the story as a sort of admitted pseud kind of endeared me to him. He's not trying to present himself as anyones authority or final word on anything they way a lot of wolfe heads do
