Total ultima win: I just hooked up my descrambler on the non-TimeWarner cable service that I've been deprived of for two years, and they still haven't updated the security! I totally get all the pay channels (including one showing naked girls doing jumping-jacks and yoga), and the UFC PPVs should be free as well. Fingers crossed for Saturday...

This weekend should be a good night of fights. Quick picks:
-Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
-Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck
-Joe Stevenson vs. Kurt Pellegrino
-Kendall Grove vs. Patrick Cote
-Roger Huerta vs. Alberto Gonzales Crane
Preliminary Bouts:
-Marcus Aurelio vs. Clay Guida
-Renato "Babalu" Sobral vs. David Heath
-Antoni Hardonk vs. Frank Mir
-Thales Leites vs. Ryan Jensen
I think Couture is gonna find a way to win. He's 9-4 in title fights and 13 of his last 14 fights in the UFC have been for a title. I didn't expect him to beat Sylvia, and he came up huge. I expect he'll have a really good gameplan. I think it'll turn into a grappling war, because I can't see Randy keeping the fight standing, although he did great against Sylvia, who is a much better striker.
GSP has too many tools to not be considered the favorite. Koscheck is a good fighter, and I won't be surprised if he wins, but he's gonna have to work his ass off to do it. I don't see GSP getting caught like he did against Serra. His stand-up is awesome and his jiu-jitsu game is top notch. Koscheck is gonna have to knock him out, otherwise I see GSP getting the win.
I'm not a Stevenson fan, but ever since his loss to Neer he's looked really sharp and taken out three solid fighters with ease. I think he'll take this one by submission and set himself up for a potential fight with Penn.
Grove has a weak chin and Cote has knockout power. If Grove takes the fight to the ground, he's gonna win, if the fight stays standing, I pick Cote by brutal knockout.
Huerta is going to win either by TKO or by decision, either way he's fought way higher caliber opposition and has more than double the experience.
Aurelio vs Guida will be fight of the night. Three round decision.
Babalu is either gonna come out strong and dominate or get knocked out. I'm picking him by submission in the first.
If Mir is on, he'll get a submission victory. If he comes in like a fat slob like he has in his past few fights, he's gonna get knocked the fuck out again.
Leites is a good, tough fighter who's beat a ton of tough guys. Won his last fight with a sweet arm triangle. Jensen's beat a good list of fighters too. Should be an entertaining fight.
