Gurge, it's still the same universe, but a different planet... I guess it makes sense in context. Sort of. They really did create a different world with emoting inhabitants, so that's what the new effects are good for.

Not to mention the fact that for that much money he could have produced/funded 10-12 awesome independent movies that would blow this movie away AND leave a much more lasting impact on film. Cameron is an asshat.

The Delgo shit is SO funny to me. I really wonder if it can be non-coincidental - but JC's scriptment has been around longer than even IDEAS for Delgo. I pray that the Delgo creators are scorned animators that Cameron shitcanned a decade ago because they were inept. The movie cost $40mil and made back $700,000... what an accomplishment!
