You can make cool new names like tomb mold but the sound was defined perfectly long ago

And all those cool names feel like empty promises sometimes because of it

Big Epic Celtic-Frost meets Slayer riffs, reverb & echo drenched whisper-growled vocals right out of a sewer, and slower to midpaced tempos on longer songs,.

The nods to bands like Winter and Autopsy from Ossuary seem obvious. Honestly, I’m having trouble conveying exactly how GRIMY this material comes across, despite the Incantation-meets-Obituary riffing. In many ways this feels like Cianide being played by Timeghoul. It feels like you could have bought this cassette from a mail-order distro in the late 90’s.

I love how greasy this is. Total cave man shit but still somehow atmospheric. I like this sound board recording better than their releases.
