I didn't notice until rewatching it that Grayson lied to his sergeant when he tells him the water almost hit him ( it was spilled over after he shot her ). Someone did a slowed down version of the video, She wasn't holding the pot anymore when she squats down, the only thing in her hand was a pot holder, then she starts to stand up again and that's when he shoots. Also seems very sketchy that the hospital allegedly told the family she had committed suicide at first.

At the very end of his body cam footage he says "I think she planned this" trying to justify his actions planting the seeds that this was a suicide by cop situation. After he called her a crazy bitch and wanted to know if she had been flagged as a mental case previously. The most jarring thing about the video is his partner looks like they are about to have a nervous breakdown afterwards but Grayson seems perfectly calm like he's going to grab a danish in a few minutes.

Another angle shows she did appear to grab it and possibly throw it a split second before she was shot. She could also have been trying to use of as a shield or a spastic reaction from having a roided up shitbag telling you that you're about to die. If it was in Texas it could even be argued that she had a "stand your ground" right to assault him at that point. The whole situation is fucked beyond belief and I feel sorry for anyone on the jury if this goes to trial.
