I did just end up buying this cd though. Holy fuck... I love it.

It's from 1989, reminds me of D.R.I. but it has some weird brutal moments that remind me of Impetigo, Macabre or Slaughter.

There's fucking blastbeats all over this cd too. Blastbeats from 1989 is fapworthy almost instantly...

AND LOOK AT THAT BEARD!

Also, the singer is a chick. I love chick singers in metal bands. She only sings on most of the tracks though. THe more brutal songs are sang by the dude.

I'm really digging this album too, and not because of some novelty factor either

edit: I checked the auction, I believe it was a Mortification cd I saw. I wish I had got it.

Mortification definitely had some good earlier material and some good mid-era stuff too. The lyrics are complete shit though, so the more unintelligible growling, the better. This song (especially the riff) is good stuffs:
