It's good to have an overhand grip for your pulling arm. And nothing wrong with using some leg momentum to get into the position and hold it.

Thanks. I was amazed at how easy I pushed the 200 over my head once the weight was off my shoulders. Overheads without any knee press have always been impossible for me to improve on. Rep records went up but for some reason weight never did. I can manage to clean 225 on a good day, but this was the most I've ever tried to jerk yet it seemed easier than the pull.


Still confused on how to actually do levers though. Must be too weak.

It just so happens that I could use a good ass kicking. It's been a few months, and both fuckers I fought had a something like a 70+ pound weight advantage on me but I hold my own, yo. I convince them not to kill me somehow.

It's all in the body english, I think. At least at the beginning it is, then use less and less of that momentum to achieve the same position.

OMG I've been away forever!!!!! Anyway, I've gotten some new moves under my belt although I'm still plagued by tendonitis in the right knee.

Once I take some vids I gonna post:

- More-than-double-bodyweight chin-up
- One armed chins
- Planche (and maybe a full planche press [can do one, just gotta clean it up some more])
- Bar muscle-ups maybe 15 or so
- Weighted rope climbs (45lbs if i'm feeling frisky)
- Hands-together handstand pushup (not freestanding)
- Ring handstand pushups (feet on straps for balance) tons of reps
- Front lever with a modest row (hard as fuck)
- Hope to have an L-sit on the rings soon (waaaaay harder than on bars or the floor).
- Even with an injured knee, 3x bodyweight deadlifts
