Speed Trials was amazing. Everybody killed. I was a judge again, but the results were very fucked up, not my doing at all, I was outvoted. It added a stupid end to an otherwise totally killer night.

Dessa broke my goddamn heart into a pile of shit and then POS jumped on the rubble like a fucking trampoline. One of the best hip hop shows I've ever had the pleasure to attend. Joe Rogan fucking killed it and even managed to piss off some people in his own audience with rather obvious jokes about "KILLER" whales.

But whatever you do, DON'T go to Jaguar's Gold Club in Dallas, which, in some sick twist on the whole Cinderella thing, magically turns into a fucking rave at 3am. Suddenly I look up and they had paid go-go dancers that wouldn't take their clothes off, a fucking lame dj set up on the main stripper stage (with no said "strippers" anywhere in sight), and no dancer would even talk to you unless you wanted to buy at least a $30 dance or spend a metric fuckton of cash and go into the vip area. I seriously felt like I was on some horrible version of Punk'd . . .

That shithole was a disgrace to all that is awesome and I WON'T STAND FOR IT!

Which old band?

my old band was Korotory. I thought they were ok, certainly not my cup of tea but they seem to be enjoying themselves and it was good to catch up with the guys after 12 years.

What did you think of Cleanser? I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a full reunion, I'm really not a fan of reunions that feature 2 original members and the rest of the band just fill-in musicians. I really would have liked to see Dave Case on bass too. Pete Motive is a good drummer though.

Two Man Advantage was fantastic too, i haven't seen them in 10 years and they're better now than they were I think.

Phobia, PLF, and Kill The Client all played over 15 minutes, and were thus disqualified. So the winners were:
1st place - Thousandswilldie
2nd place - Bird
3rd place - Stapled Shut

I have no idea what the other judges were thinking. By the time I had gotten over to them they had already made up their mind, and I was already outvoted. We had 3 judges. When I got to them I was asked what I thought of those three as the winners, I said I wasn't voting for them, and I was told that "well, that's who we're voting so, so it don't matter" I didn't agree with bands being disqualified for the longer set times either.

Bird got boo'd when they were announced as 2nd place winners. I don't know if they had already left, but they never took the stage to claim their trophy. And Thousandswilldie thanked the promoter for putting them on the show (and putting them on the past two years), but when they won their drummer Gregg mocked the whole event and broke the trophy.

Ive got to edit the footage together now, and I don't know what to do with the award ceremony. If I leave it off, it looks incomplete. If I include it, it feeds the bears.
