i think the last time i cried was last week while watching Iron Giant. i watch a fair amount of movies and am very emotionally unstable so maybe once a month

the last time i cried about something in real life i couldnt tell you. off hand id say five years ago at my brothers funeral. ive certainly felt frustrated and hopeless since then but i dont think ive cried about it. if it helped i would have but at times like those ive found the opposite. honestly though my memory has gone to such shit in recent years that pretty much any negative emotion i have that seems like a huge deal is literally forgotten in a day or so.

as for being alone i greatly enjoy it and each day i go without speaking to my family or supposed friends is a blessing. oh wait that reminds me. about a year ago i got my friend a job with me and he was abruptly and unfairly fired so i cried when i hugged him. its a pretty awesome job.

i've been extremely stressed at work, but a few weeks ago it was particularly bad. it got to the point where i was losing sleep because of the stress. one night, i didn't get a second of sleep all night - i just stayed awake all through the night tossing and turning, going downstairs to watch TV and back in bed again. the next day was of course hell, trying to stay alert by downing 5 hour energy shots. when i got home, i was exhausted so i made dinner in my PJs cos i decided i was going to bed right after. still couldn't sleep. so late at night/early in the morning, i became apparent that i might not get any sleep for the 2nd night in a row. i just started crying. i mean runny nose - the whole deal. i think that's what actually made me eventually get some sleep.

i'm in super emo mode, i think. i'm going to blame the upcoming full moon...

i've done this quite a few times but it's when i couldn't sleep during the first night (but this is after days of minimal sleep). but that stressed break-down cry does help.
