During the Down tour they only played one song that wasn't on the first four albums and Mongrain pulled it off nearly flawlessly. It cost me $50 and I considered not going up until the last second. I left thinking I would pay another $50 for another set on the spot.

I understand the reservations about it but it's really not something you should miss if you haven't seen them.

snake was pulling out some surf board moves at the same gig 00100 attended, hilarious.

i'd rather see them playing primarily classic material with mongrain moonlighting as opposed to piggy still being around and working in material from the JASONIC era.

mongrain is so fucking dead on with the tones and delivery that'd it be a shame to miss them especially if you never got to see them back in the day.
