I mean the myths surrounding the guy... Parlor tricks like the one inch punch, the claims about all the fights he was supposed to be in, the claims that he could've taken out any great heavyweight boxer or would've beaten Duran and other assorted bullshit.

In the book he incorporates and uses examples of many boxers such as Dempsey or Ali when talking about the ineffectiveness of certain martial art techniques etc in real life situations. I don't think I've read too many interviews where Lee claimed to be able to beat a HW or anything.

I actually think Lee is a pioneer who broke down barriers to open up martial arts to westeners both through popular culture and actually revealing techniques, but then as more a boxing fan I don't really know or care more about it than that.

I wouldn't want him to kick me though.
