While I'm glad he never had to know that GW Bush was president.... just imagine the songs that douche bag would have inspired.

I think I'm emotionally unattached...

Saw Stevie Ray Vaughn just about 7 days before his chopper took the gaspipe... just thunk, dang!

Did exercise last week while rocking Holy Diver and some Rainbow for Dio.

legitimately so far no deaths that have really bummed me out...

my own death though will be a mega bummer, :moreawesome:

Charles M. Schulz. Fuck... That interview / profile they did of him on MSNBC right before he died where he knew he was dying, said he lived his whole life famous and never once found happiness, never thought his work was good enough and broke down crying was one of the most brutal things I've ever seen. I got all misty eyed watching it.

Only two I can think of really.
Vonnegut, Waylon, and Dio pretty much bummed me out as well. I'm having a hard time getting worked up over the latest rash of celeb deaths since this past Friday one of my classmates I've been friends with since 1st grade (that's 1976 for those of you keeping score at home) died of lung & brain cancer leaving behind 2 school-age kids AND another classmate after many attempts and miscarriages/stillbirths had a son who died an hour after birth, also on Friday. If I hear one more person trying to console someone by talking about "God's will/plan", I'm going to headbutt them in the face.

I recently read a description of the room when they found him and it was so fucking bleak. I can't imagine what that guys last days were like.

Actually.... Thinking back to my "bad years" I sort of can

What do you remember about the description of the room?

The CBC did a "Life and Times" episode on Mr. Dress Up shortly after his death and I sobbed for an hour after it was over. Just thinking about the passing of Ernie Coombs bums me out big time right now. RIP Mr. Coombs.
