The Carl twist fucking sucked. I hated TV Carl, but he is the narrative centre of the whisperers. So this sucks.

The finale wrapped up a regrettable Saviours war which started with so much promise.

Fear was so much better.

Fears first season was underwhelming, second season pretty horrendous, third was on the up - first episode of four was legit awesome fun

I agree. That first season was so easy to despise I didn't even touch season 2. I saw an episode or two of season 3, but when a dopey housewife or teacher, or whatever mundane thing she was, is able to overpower a military dude... NOPE! Regardless, unless all those characters have multiple personality diseases I hated them so much in season 1, that there is just on chance of me wanting to watch them. Unless they are constantly murdered and brought back to life again, just to be murdered all over

Tell me how Morgan winds up on that show, though. I thought it took place in WD's past. Did he just walk from Virginia to California in a day?

If Alpha and Beta are good I’m into it. Henry being used as proxy Carl to mirror the narrative is probably the shakiest bit.

Wonderful new teenage characters being so teenager, complete with teenage drinking and teenage hormones and playing teenage zombie horseshoes.

Have I also mentioned my delight at how sign language girl is really speeding up an already meandering show with all that speedy and insightful dialogue that’s being signed.

I can’t tell. So many scrub characters that should have died seasons ago yet live. But, I’ll tell you what, after all the horse saving and horse attention of this season a doggo death would certainly spring much right wing Youtuber style feminist conspiracies to mind.
