haha, his picking hand hardly moves while he plays. so efficient it kinda kills the werewolf inside.

In that new IO interview he said he's still trying to work on picking efficiency, making it even cleaner/clearer. That's here, if you haven't read it:
(Exhales contemplatively) Yes and no. Certainly, if one wanted to dress up in a ballet outfit and copy Duran Duran, that would be the way not to do metal.
I love the disciplines where you use more of your hands in a grappling kind of [manner]. Certainly the Brazilian jiu-jitsu kind of stuff really appeals to me. But taekwondo is a challenge because I’m a short guy. I’ve got short legs. To jump up and spin around and kick people in the head, for me, is a physical challenge. I surprise a lot of people when I go to spar. They’re not prepared for me to do that kind of stuff.
Colonel Sanders is pretty cute in general, but yeah, ITDS doesn't have the 'perfect' sound that AOTW does, but it was a huge step up from Black seeds...The material was awesome but I could never get over that flat mess of a production.

Ha. I still get all giddy when I pick up my copy of Annihilation because one of the Fedex drivers down in Greenville SC delivered to Karl all the time and Karl gave him the cd to check out. He then gave it to my manager to check out and then he gave it to me. Karl's fat little oompa-loompa digits were all over that cd, touching it, loving it, casting Egyptian death spells on it, probably fingering secret Egyptian scales on it's case.
Still think they're a great band, just wished they'd cut back on the generic riffs and the "epicness". Ithyphallic was awesome, not as good as Black Seeds obviously, but it had a distinctive sound. The most recent one, though, does not. After listening to it twice I'm kind of disinterested. Oh well...

My COCK: A-doodle-doo fun time play whistle. Potential chocking hazard for babies and pets.
Amongst the Catacombs..., Black Seeds of Vengeance, In Their Darkened Shrines (love the main riff in Sarcophagus), and Annihilation of the Wicked all kill. Ithyphallic seemed too much same ol' same ol' like others have said. I listened to the latest one a few times when it came out but nothing really stuck. I'm listening to all Nile after work.
