I'm been on a Black Flag binge. Other than Metallica possibly ripping off an old riff ( something they've done dozens of times. ) I noticed BF's "Out Of This World" is Aerosmith's " Back In The Saddle"

Every mid-paced goth-metal song from 1996-onward blatantly ripped off My Dying Bride "For You" and that song is basically the template for all of Discouraged Ones

Obviously isn't a ripped off riff as Mustaine wrote both parts but I never noticed the Phantom Lord interlude was rewrote into the outro of "That Was My Life"

Mustaine also ripped himself off with "When" from The World Needs A Hero taking the OTHER "Call of Ktulu" riff he didn't use in "Hangar 18"

The entire Inhumate "Growth" album is suspect. From the blatant "Piece By Piece" part going on so long I thought it was going to be a cover. To a vocal pattern that sounds exactly like the end of Origin's "Lethal Manipulation" to at a dozen other things I can't place at the moment.
