Like things can be "good" for me or for my family, the company I work for, but not necessarily good for others. What counts as being the "greater" good is often debated. Example - this supply chain problem has caused my bonuses to go up quite a lot, but it's costly in a lot of other ways to a lot of people. It's like in Revenge of the Sith where good or bad depends on your point of view.
