Its top 3 series for me, just watch it.

The Bear s2 - 8/10 - This show has an intensity level that hovers just below panic, much like Uncut Gems. Some episodes are a bit of a break from full throttle anxiety, but there's usually something heavy involved in one way or another. The show makes me feel human in that everyone is a fuckup trying to solve problems.

Competency porn is when people who know what they're doing do their jobs well, like in The Martian, or Thief, etc. The Bear consists of fuckups trying not to fuck things up while screaming at each other, and sometimes succeeding at not fucking up. I can't imagine a competency porn type show where someone slips anti anxiety meds into the punch at a kids birthday party that they're catering.
