Yeah, that show is way better than it has any right to be. By "actual good TV series" standards I'd still rate it 9.5 because it drags a bit sometimes, even if that's in the service of highlighting what a kafkaesque nightmare living in the Empire is. But by Star Wars standards, it's more like a 12/10, especially in 2022. This needs to be the start of a Rogue One-based sub-franchise of Star Wars that actually takes itself seriously and doesn't suck.

I’m only about 2 episodes in, but I feel like the show is, well, you know all that extra stupid bullshit they shoehorned into the Hobbit films to make 3 films out of one book. Whoever wrote that mess probably wrote this series. Two characters in particular. I think their names are Nudy and Poopy, and they absolutely suck a monkey’s ass.

I'm two episodes in so far and I'm honestly not entirely sure why everyone's so mad at this show. It's basically the plot to an okay videogame with worse looking creatures than your average Unreal 5 tech demo, but it's not offensively bad, just kinda bleh and badly needs to get off GoT's dick because quippy one liners and the presence of prostitutes are... not enough? I dunno. I guess I expected worse.

I still think it's just profoundly mediocre. The whole thing feels like it started with an interesting enough premise and some ideas that were good on paper and then they just got their budget slashed. You can really tell how this was supposed to be six episodes at the start, for example, and then all the "character development" got crammed into episode 3 where they just sit around in that cave and talk, and it's supposed to make you care about these people, but the dialogue was apparently written by a 12 year-old who had just discovered swearing, and so it doesn't work. And obviously the entire production design (that elven town and the castle seriously feel like Star Trek TNG sets) and the CGI was basically done with ten dollars and a box of crafting foam.

I still think at least half the hate this show gets is because the edgelords have now crowned Henry Cavill their king and they just get mad everytime a major character isn't played by a white person. It's not a good show, but it's also not the worst thing in human history, just kinda undercooked and rushed.

Paul T. Goldman - 8/10 - this docudrama is bizarre and very funny. Nerdy dude gets scammed by his wife and gets caught up in a web of human trafficking and gangsters. He stars in the re-enactments opposite recognizable actors, and is just a goofy weirdo all around.

The Wire: 9/10 Binge watched this like a motherfucker. Would be a 10/10 but it got too much “HBO show” for its own good sometimes. Man, fuck Bubs. Who cares?? Also, much respect to the actress that played Snoop. You made me truly despise the bitch.
