Cancelled before its time, but then again, at least it went out on top. The Mad Max stuff probably wouldn't have worked.

I figured the Mad Max ending was just some wackiness they made up because they knew it was the last episode. I doubt that would’ve been the next season. Potential for a decent video game, though.

Supposedly it was actually the plan to have the show continue in the future, but, you know, my source for this is The Internet, so who knows. It certainly wouldn't have made any sense after three seasons of building and expanding on an ensemble cast, especially since it actually turned out to be a good idea to give Ash some younger sidekicks and a recurring human-ish villain. But it is what it is now. I actually think it makes for an ok ending to the show, and it's a nice nod to the alternate ending of Army of Darkness.

Yeah, last 2/6th of the episode lifted off. Has had a better flow with less meh characters than Sopranos, so far.

I watched Lockwood and Co. on the strength of Joe Cornish's prior flicks: Attack the Block and The Kid Who Would Be King. The writing is pretty well done, better than you'd expect for a YA ghost 'em up. I dug it quite a bit - too bad it's been cancelled already.

I really wasnt big into it for a long time but its won me over too. Theyve done a great job layering a lot of complicated humanity onto its initial caricatures
