Apparently this band still thinks mallcore is the "in thing". They are stuck somewhere in 1999-2001. They obviously have child-like mentalities to be their age and have this awful trendy look.

Little kids still go out and nu-metal like crazy dude. It's absolutely crazy. My generation was the exact target demo for that stuff - I was 15 in the year 2000. Hot Topic opened up and at least a third of my high school was actively shooting money into the whole Ozzfest cloud. Every once in a while I'll go with one of my pals to see one of those bands. Every show is still completely filled with young people in big pants and Slipknot shirts.

I guess I assumed that there was some component of generational overturn to that stuff. Nobody I knew would ever buy Mottley Crue merchandise and you were a weird dork if you listened to that stuff. I figured that in 10-15 years some new thing would be big and that Slipknot, Disturbed and Korn would just be weird old relics that were funny and dumb to everyone. I guess that has happened to some small extent but not nearly to the point where I think it could be argued that it's all 'passe' and no longer relevant in some pop culture waiz.
