I found that Purulent album in the used bin with the cartoon boy rape version of the art work. I wonder how big of a scum bag the clerk thought I was. I remember when they played Fuck the Commerce a few years ago... they were one of these BRUDLE bands that everyone was required to like based on nothing but the fact that they were from a relatively exotic location (Colombia, IIRC). They sounded like absolute horseshit, but people loved it and fucking everyone had the "fuck off to gay metal" shirt on that weekend. That may have been the day I lost faith in my Metal brethren.

I never owned those pants... My memory of them is extremely hazy and unreliable, but I think Paulo showed them to me before we went to an MDF afterparty in the hotel we were staying at. I might have ended up wearing them to the party over my own pants, but doubt I wore them very long. I'm sorting through some serious brain webs here - I'm guessing it was 2007.
