I'll bet you it's oxytocin. That's the biz that releases into mothers and babies that relaxes them and makes them feel bonded. It's also released between dog and human affection, it's a chemical link that calms each other and literally makes loving your pet beneficial to your health.

I get this all the time, and can do it at will so easy: starts in the ears/back-of-head/top-of-neck and travels as far as my thighs, maybe into my calves a bit

this happens to me all the time, usually with certain female voices, but sometimes with weird stuff like the sound of crunching leaves or buttons clicking on a game controller in the background. i got some with the first video but the second one is kind of maddening.

And I've been able to intentionally induce them during the emotional "apexes" of postrock songs, either ones that I haven't heard before or ones that I haven't listened to in a while.

Even though I'm pretty sure I've goten the chillz from something like this before, I answered no/3 because I can't think of or remember a specific time. I just know there's something about makeup tutorials that zone me out, and now I see all these weird videos with shittons of views.

i think i should maybe try figuring out what the thread is actually about but browsing in book stores, the library, magazine racks, gamestop shelves has always given me shit urge and farting attacks.

This triggers for me when talking to very specific people, including some strangers and a few customers from my last retail job who I would only see once every couple of months. It basically feels like a warm blanket is being put over my brain.
I have absolutely no idea of a pattern involved with the people who trigger this for me besides the fact that they are never my friends.
That video definitely works.
EDIT: Those coolduder videos that Clint posted a while back were great for me relaxing, too. I couldn't say I know why...
