My ankle hurt itself somehow yesterday without any injury whatsoever, and the pain steadily rose from a faint whisper to the point that I almost passed out standing up (not an exaggeration for drama -- my vision swam then started closing off and I had to sit down). I hit 40 and I guess my body is now in full-blown warranty is up, bumper is falling off mode. It hurts significantly less today, but had I woken up in this pain without going through yesterday first, I would be extremely panicked. Instead I'm relieved.

I slept on the couch sitting up and I’ve had the pins and needles feeling in two fingers of my right hand for hours now. I’m thinking if Dave Mustaines Saturday night palsy and a guy I knew who had a sleeping injury and the muscles in his hand atrophied up. Of course I have to hear on the radio going to work a guy talking about Django Reinhardt’s burned off fingers.

decided to give metamucil a whirl

I'm a fervent husk devotee at this point

I bring a baggie of protein powder pre-mixed with psyllium husk wherever I travel (RIP)

I think the husks (micro grains) are way way way better than the psyllium powder that is presumably in metamucil

yeah thats next, i have maybe a week or more worth but post links to preferred products

my lockdown diet is just fucking ghastly at this point

I'll chime in: the husks are way better than Metamucil, and I say that as a fan of Metamucil.

One serving of the husks is roughly equivalent to four servings of Metamucil.

I'm sure I've posted about this before, but the true magick of the husk is that it has not only insoluble fiber, but also soluble fiber. the latter is harder to come by - it's in oatmeal & apples (both good for keeping the doctor away!) but only husk has essentially no calories.

fiber pyramid guy reminded me of when I was eating a ton of shredded wheat and it gave me ridiculously voluminous gas. I remember one ripper in calc class - easily my most blatant and horrifying public fart. by a mile. if only I'd known the power of the husk back then...

I managed to step on my own Achilles’ tendon several months ago. Probably because I’m a clumsy fat slop of fuck and gave myself bursitis. It’s finally healing up. In my other foot I think I’m getting a tailors bunion

I think I'm getting tarsal tunnel syndrome in both feet from hyperthyroid. That or I gave myself nerve damage smashing my toes into drum hardware too many times playing barefoot.

I was playing the intro to March Of The Pigs and realized if I kept it up I’d probably rip my shoulder out of its socket trying to get my right arm over to the floor tom fast enough.
