Eh, it end and flows along like this.

Though I was sad to see FNF and Teddy go.

We're at the end of the May Pac era and the Klitchsko HW era has been so unremarkable - even the amusing banter with Tyson Fury this week doesn't provide any sizzle.

GGG makes me feel good though. There are some decent Jnr Welter and Welters coming through - it's just shit like May Berto and Mosley Mayorga 2 that makes it more stale waiting for what comes next.

It'll happen don't worry

yeah man, it was an incredible showing. did you see Pascal/Gonzalez?...I thought Gonzalez was pretty flagrantly robbed, but until the laughable decision, the fight ruled.

I didn't mean to sound overly gloomy about the future of boxing; it's pretty damn healthy internationally...talent is strong...

the way it's presented is so goddamn fragmented...all the titles, the war between premium channels, both here and abroad...it's amazing the sport is still alive

point is, I still love boxing and see that there is awesome stuff on display

I did not watch that - I'll have to have a look.

Well the reason for your gloom is the fragmentation and stuff you touch on - But Money/Pac showed how big it can be. Just imagine if the contest was fought ala Mathysse Provodnikov or the extremely exciting Lemiuex GGG fight which is the first true 160 fight I have cared about since Trinidad Hopkins.

There was no way I was watching Floyd Berto.

I'm more into GGG Lemieux than Cotto Alvarez.

one of the best cards in a while tonight...all 4 fights look legitimately worthwhile

hopefully the cubs/mets game resolves quickly

gotta admit I knew next to nothing about Roman Gonzales, who's on the undercard; look at this fucking clinical dismantling

Golovkin looked great again tonight, and his jab work looked its best. Golovkin's control of the range and his ability to see shots coming is magnificent. I love men who hurt other men with body shots. I was kinda disappointed Lemieux's offense was shut down so quickly and so effectively, so you have to give it up to Golovkin for doing that. Lemieux managed to land a few good shots here and there but from the opening round there was absolutely no question who was going to win that fight.

I'd love to see GGG fight Ward. MUCH more than seeing him fight the Cotto/Alvarez winner. Ward is a masterful technician even if he's "boring", and I bet Golovkin would make sure their fight was anything but that.

that to me...is THE fight. the silent master vs. the new banger

they're both getting old...it's fucking time for an actual good huge thing

Fuck Ward, he pretty much has committed to going to 175 anyway. As shitty as the competition is at 160 now, I'm comfy with G3 having 4 or 5 160 defences while he plots his next move.

It was excellent and Im happy Canello called out GGG stright up so we can have a proper unified and lineal MW champ for the first time since Taylor robbed Hopkins in the first fight.

Golovkin was clinical yesterday.

To be honest - I really don't give a shit about Andre Ward yet - I'm tired of the ducking and I think for his legacy and to reflect his dominance - he absolutely deserves to fight for the lineal & unified 160 title.

At 5'10"/11" and his frame - he's a perfect middleweight - he doesn't have to go up yet.

If Canelo doesn't mention his name after obliterating Khan...man

Demarcus Chop Chop Corley is named after him... not really.

Rewarched Kov Ward again today, sound off, 7-5 in rounds with a knockdown, total robbery.

Lomanchenko is a beast
