My mind always imposes much better lyrics into songs without my permission, and I'm often disappointed when i read the real ones.

I'll never ever forget this moment in spring of 2003 when I first (mis)heard "sistinas" by Danzig:

the wind won't blow
when you walk by

The way he sang it, it gave the implication that the woman was a dreadful spiritual being whose presence stopped the flow of nature, just by walking. Like a beautiful blair witch. The hairs on my arms stood up and I got chills, it was an incredible mental image.

Years later of course I actually read the lyrics and it just says "i feel sad when I miss you"
