So glad to see we've come this far since the last iteration of this thread.

I make a point of putting people in uncomfortable situations that don't abide by these simple public transit cultural norms. Just this week there was some slack-jawed 19 year old sitting legs spread wide open with his stupid skate-shop backpack resting on the seat beside him, with a dozen people standing all around, completely unwilling to give up his 1/2 seat for anyone and I sat right on his fucking leg.

It is even worse with doors that close automatically and they do not even hold the door and they just walk through with you holding it for them. Like you are their fucking doorman. But this thread is about irrational anger.

ha yes. i see this very prevalent with chinks around my area. so far i've never seen one stand up for an elderly and pregnant women. on the other hand, male black teens usually are the first ones to stand up and offer their seats.
