this type of stuff still haunts me and i should be over it by now

healthy looking adults faking interactions, pretending to be surprised by pranks etc.

a loved one got semi-addicted to one of those "couples who prank each other" channels and I had to find a gently way of enlightening them to the not-exactly-genuine nature of their adventures

i just came from getting a bite to eat where there was a guy face first on the sidewalk looked like he was eiether hit by a car or od'ing. i checked him to see what was up and he couldnt lift his face from the concrete and there was some liquid around his mouth i couldnt tell what it was but he was waving his leg around in circles like some obscure junkie signal or something. fuck it fuck you i call 911 tell em the story pls send a paramedic yadda yadda. i know there's a station less than a block away. cops with lights and sirens are literally already there as i'm hanging up and they go to the wrong spot but nearby and just kinda congregate. i drive over there to them and i'm all HEY no he's over there. say what who's where? the guy i called about over there he's on the street. oh! well theres one over here too lol! and there's a nearly identical half dead dude literally nose to concrete less than 30 feet from dude 1 \

I don't see what's irrational about getting angry at this situation? I mean I'd of course help people that need help but still, fuck those junkies...

because i'm not (and neither is anyone else) interested in splitting my throw away 'angry' posts into rational and irrational and i havent paid attention to that distinction in almost ten years
