Re: Phil Collins and PHILIP BAILEY - Easy Lover
Phil Collins vocal production on his albums is so amazing. He brought some of the effects used by Prg bands from the 70's, but gave it fresh new sound. Personally, "Hello I Must be Going" is one of my favorite albums of all time. Its such a dark album, yet still manages to have great hooks and melody.

I'm just going to put this right here...when he gets up, saunters to the kit, and sits down just in time to play THE FILL...badass.

geetaris Daryl Stuermer is from Milwaukee, so we tried looking him up in the phone book on an ol' metalfest trip.. was unlisted, but he played a show at Broadway Joe's for about 25 people and was really nice dude... he said "yeah you guys shoulda called me".. told tales of playing in Jean-Luc Ponty's band, talked about Playing with Phil.. touring with genesis.

Had to make a quick drive to the store this morning since I was out of some of my breakfast stuff. Motherfuckin EASY LOVER came on the radio and you better believe I blasted that shit just as loud as if it were Slayer. Perfect start to this foggy Saturday morning!

Going through this thread again has inspired me to revisit a rough draft of that Juice Newton topic I've been putting off for years

17 studio albums, and I don't think she wrote a goddamn word/note of it.

Is "Juice Newton" the stage-name polar opposite of "Necrobutcher"? They should tour together...
