need to control is fucking unhinged in the greatest way possible. my first introduction to Brutal Truth was seeing them on CANADA'S music channel, "Much Music" in the 90's. Godplayer! I have the vinyl boxset that is a 9", 8", 7", 6" and 5".

When I saw Brutal Truth at the MDF that Venomous Concept also played, I was beside myself with happiness because they were 100% a bucket list band for me, and I thought they sounded fucking awesome. It probably helped I was very familiar with most of their releases.

... with all that said, the drummer wasnt exactly beating his snare like he wanted to kill it. Was it KRB who said (paraphrasing) "a drummer should look like he's turning himself inside out when he's blasting." Maybe this was a Blair Goatsblood-ism, now that I think about it..
